Here's the 30 second ad run by "Americans For Stable Quality Care" on TV this month.

Pick your favorite lie from the choices in this commercial in their claims "A" through "H."

" What does health Insurance Reform Mean for you?
A. It means you can't be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition or dropped if you get sick.
B. It means putting health care decisions in the hands of you and your doctor.
C. It means lower costs.
D. A cap on out of pocket expenses.
E. Tough new rules to cut waste and red tape.
F. And a focus on preventing illness before it strikes.
So what does health insurance reform really mean?
G. Quality...
H. Affordable care you can count on."

Although its nearly impossible to select the biggest lie, my choice is lie "B." The decisions will be taken from you and your doctor by Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health policy advisor to Barack Obama and would be deceision maker for the new Obama health care system.

He blames the Hippocratic oath for the "Overuse of Medical care." He bemoans the fact that "Medical school education and post graduate education emphasize thoroughness."
He complains that physicians only think about their own patient's needs.

He wants a system that allocates medical costs and care, if any, according to age, with the priority on those age 15 to 40. If you are younger or getting older than 40, then good luck under the Obama plan.

His reasoning is that "...other things are rarely equal- whether to save one 20 year old, who might live another 60 years, if saved, or three 70 year olds, who could only live for another 10 Years each.

He says that his plan "appears" to discriminate against older people, but believes his belief is the correct one.

Frommer's Travel Guide Considering Pushing Arizona Boycott Because Of Open Firearms Carry

Frommer's Travel guide guru Arthur Frommer said yesterday in his blog that he is considering recommending an Arizona travel boycott because of recent open carry of firearms in a non secure area at an Obama speech location there. And what was the police and Secret Service action that was taken to these citizens openly carrying guns there? Precisely what it should have been. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No reaction whatsoever.

Although his travel guide is not urging a boycott, not just yet anyway, Frommer said that he will not travel in any state where people can legally carry loaded weapons in the open as a means of political protest. He believes that this open carry is a "threat to the future of our democracy." He is also afraid of his own personal safety there.

He calls people who carry guns openly at political events "extremists," and asks his readers if a boycott should be put into effect.

He won't travel where there is open carry, but what about his traveling in the states that allow concealed carry?

It may come as a shock and surprise to him that the people carrying guns openly were most likely vastly outnumbered by Arizonans carrying legally concealed handguns at the same place.

But, what about the people who carry discretely and legally in 47 other states where concealed handgun permits are granted, in some states granted more liberally than others?

Perhaps when he finds out when he travels across the rest of the USA that he considers "safe" that he will be surrounded by hundreds of gun carrying people and not even know it. Not knowing that the person next to him is legally armed will certainly make him more comfortable.

Somewhere along the way he may find out that, God forbid, he will be standing next to a little old lady legally carrying a Ladysmith .38 in her purse at a Frommer's recommended tourist attraction, or a union member with a hidden .45 renting a car at a Frommer's recommended car rental agency, or a man in a business suit and his wife carrying concealed his and her's Glocks at a Frommer's recommended restaurant, that he is a just little bit safer when he is among a law abiding, well armed population.

Police Using A Taser Set A Man On Fire

In the Department's first use of a Taser, Lancaster Ohio Police Tasered a man and it set him on fire. They were responding to a report of a man inhaling from a spray can. Police say that they didn't see any evidence of flammable gas when they fired the Taser at him.

He was spraying something from a can into his mouth and running when he was tackled by officers. He resisted arrest and after a warning to stop resisting, he was Tasered. Officers saw a flame on his chest and put the fire out.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and then to jail. His charges included assaulting an officer, resisting arrest, and abusing harmful intoxicants. He was eventually released from jail on his own recognizance.

Lancaster Police have restrictions on Taser use on people when flammable fumes are present or on people who police know have come into contact with things that could ignite. Police are reviewing their policies on Taser use

The man claimed that his entire side of his body burned. The Tasered man has an extensive arrest record.

Jesse Jackson And Others Up In Arms About Open Firearms Carry At Public Meetings

In the often heard cry, "Its a return to the Wild West," the Rev. Jackson has blasted the open carry of firearms in states where it is legal at places where public officials are present. Several people carried firearms, including a shoulder slung AR 15 in the open at a non-secure area where Obama was speaking recently.

The good reverend, in a statement to an Arkansas TV station yesterday, said that the people who had guns, "...were responding to calls by a right-wing radio host who sought to organize people with guns near the president to make a political point."

Also citing the Homeland Security report, ""Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,"
Jackson exclaimed that, "This isn't just harmless macho posturing. What we are witnessing is a dangerous and toxic mixture of hate groups and laws that allow them to carry guns, even to a presidential event."

Of course, Jackson follows the liberal line that all who listen to talk radio are tin foil hat wearing, mind numbed robots who are programmed to follow electronic orders beamed from talk show radio waves.

And, so what if they did do this on the suggestion of a talk show host? Jackson knows that political speech takes many forms. He himself has used many alternative forms of political speech, but he believes it is perfectly reasonable for him to use his own methods.

Our country is changing, and large numbers of constituents are becoming vocal and sometimes loud as they realize that running this Republic isn't just a matter of voting every two or four years and ignoring what happens in between elections in Washington and state legislatures. The party line isn't necessarily what the people want in reality.

Politicians who have practiced "business as usual" by ignoring what the voters want for years are becoming increasingly and painfully aware that the "business as usual" of ignoring those they represent will o longer be tolerated.

Anti Gun N. C. State State Senator Shoots A Home Invader

North Carolina State Senator R.C. Soles, 74, the longest-serving lawmaker in the General Assembly, shot an intruder as he tried to break into his home Sunday. He shot 22-year-old Thomas Kyle Blackburn in the leg as Blackburn and another man allegedly tried to break down his door. They apparently were both legal clients of the senator.

The Senator, who has made a career of being against guns for you and me, didn't hesitate to defend himself with his own gun when he believed he was in immediate danger, and was the victim of a crime against himself.

In typical hypocritical liberal fashion, the "Do as I say and not as I do" anti gun Democrat picked up his gun and took action in what apparently was a self defense shooting, something he doesn't want you be able to do.

His life and personal safety must be be far more valuable than yours or mine.
But, this is to be expected from those who believe they can run our lives, raise our kids, and protect our families better than we can.

Obama Creates New Whitehouse Healthcare Propaganda Website

Obama has a new sequel to the snitches hotline. On the new White House "Health Insurance Forum Reality Check" site, Linda Douglass of the White House Office of Health Reform tries to "debunk" the "myth" that reform will force you out of your current insurance plan or force you to change doctors. She says, "To the contrary, reform will expand your choices, not eliminate them."

Actually, Barack Obama and Linda Douglass seem to forget that computers keep great records and never forget any record of Obama's past remarks in speeches and off the cuff remarks.

Obama, speaking at the SEIU conferencre in September, 2007 had this to say about your insurance received through your employer. "But I don't think we're going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. There's going to be potentially some transition process. I can envision a decade out or 15 years out or 20 years out where we've got a much more portable system."

The White House "Health Insurance Forum Reality Check" site and Mouthpiece Linda Douglass now spin that "eliminating employer coverage" does not mean "eliminating employer coverage." Typical Obama doublespeak.

Let's look plain meaning of the words "transition process" so there is no doubt what he means in plain English. Here's the Miriam-Webster Dictionary definition of "transition:" "a : passage from one state, stage, subject, or place to another : change.

And what is the process that Obama talks about? "2 a (1) : a natural phenomenon marked by gradual changes that lead toward a particular result" There is no doubt that the "transition process" Obama wants is the elimination of Employer provided health coverage. An end to your individual right of choice in this and other matters of self determination is what he wants.

The White House will justify Obama's real intentions as another "poor choice of words." It is actually a "poor choice of direction and ideas" for our country. There is no wonder that Americans are angry with the Administration's and Congress' push to Socialism and Marxism.

He is an old crony with the SEIU, and apparently believed that when he was being honest about his plans during this speech to this group, that the real plan would continue to remain secret.

He also told them at the same time. "I've spent my entire adult life working with SEIU. I'm not a newcomer to this," Obama said. "I didn't suddenly discover SEIU on the campaign trail. Oh, y'all organize."

This new White House propaganda site also attempts to favorably spin these other issues:
1. Reform will stop "rationing" - not increase it
2. The "euthanasia" distortion on help for families
3. Vets' health care is safe and sound
4. Reform will benefit small business - not burden it
5. Your medicare is safe, and stronger with reform

"Let's Just Set All The Elderly Outside in The Wintertime." The government can give them a rocking chair, a blanket and a thermos of hot chocolate. It was good enough for Eskimos years ago. Its good enough for Obama's healthcare program. Obama wants to freeze out the elderly from health care.

Older Americans have every reason to be afraid of Obama's National healthcare. In fact, every American should be concerned, because we will all eventually fall into the "Outside with them in the wintertime!" philosophy of Barack Obama and the Democrats.

Many senior citizens know that their healthcare will be rationed. There is rationing in every socialist country that has adopted national healthcare. Obama believes that healthcare is only for the young and the healthy. Obama and his associates are saying that the greatest health expenses are in the final days. He wants to save these expenses and redistribute this money. Medicare and Social Security are both broke. Why bankrupt healthcare just because of a few old people?

Obama's spokesmen are saying that relatives are caught in a "guilt trip" when they provide comfort and healthcare for their elders. He believes that spunk and a lust for life are meaningless in an old grandmother. In an outright dismissal of the desire to live, he said that you just can't measure an old person's spunk and will to live.

This is why Obama is encouraging people to enter into living wills with instructions to physicians and family to not treat them. Obama wants to encourage people not to seek healthcare in a living will simply as a cost saving measure for the government.

Baby Boomers and the elderly do not want to be set outside in the freezing cold in the dead of winter when they get too old to be productive. The only way Obama can save on healthcare costs is to deny that care to senior citizens. Instead, his own plans for healthcare must be frozen out.

Obama doesn't like the very visible recent grassroots negative reactions to his healthcare programs that liberal legislators have been trying to hype at "town hall" meetings.

Obama says that the very vocal opposition to his plans is not "grass roots, but rather "Astroturf." What a clever deceptive description by him. None of us have ever seen such vocal opposition to a domestic government program. Opposition to Obama's healthcare is neither fake nor fraudulent.

This big wave of objections to Obamacare has been seen in recent days. Obama says that people who show up at the "town halls" and are vocal against his plans are an angry mob and are part of a well funded K Street lobbyist effort to end reasonable discussion of his plans. You're darn right that people are angry.

Is there a dress code required to disagree with Obama? Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) said on Hardball Wednesday that she can tell that they’re fakes, because they’re too well dressed. But, clothing aside, it is evident from interviews with attendees seen on TV that actually covers some of these these "town halls", that these dissenters are just fed up average Americans. They can't sit quietly on their hands anymore.

Even with careful audience selection, it may only be a matter of time before the Messiah himself is called on the carpet and has to answer in person to upset Americans at his own so called town hall meetings.

Your vocal opposition to his and legislator's misrepresentations and outright lies about national health care at these town meetings are a not so subtle reminder that your Representatives and Senators work for you. You do not work for them. This scares them.Obama seems to work for himself. Legislators, and perhaps Obama himself, are scared. Legislators are afraid that they will lose the next election and will have to enter the depressed job market to get a real job, which they are probably not qualified to get.

Yes, Americans are angry and are increasingly sick and tired of elected representatives ignoring our phone calls, faxes, emails, and letters about what we do and do not want. It has come to a point when elected officials will not listen, you have to be loud. Americans are finally not accepting the decades old politician's attitude and institution of ignoring of constituent's wishes and instructions of how to vote in representing them. The backlash is growing.

Obama Looking For A Few Good Snitches

Its not nice to disagree with the words and ideas of the Chosen One. He doesn't like it one bit. He wants you to report those who disagree with his Health Care plans. He is asking Americans to send copies of emails you receive and other criticisms of his government health care plan on blogs.

Here's what his White House Blog wants you to do.

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

Obama believes that all disagreement with his plans is disinformation. What's next? Will he want you to report what he also considers subversive such as magazine articles, Obama jokes, private thought, and the private conversations mentioned in White House blog? And just what does he mean by the " traveling just below the surface comment?"

It does appear that a groundswell of Americans saying "enough" to Obama and oppressive big government plans is rising to the surface by people who have historically remained silent, in a manner never seen by politicians before. And,its scaring them.

Obama's continuing fixation with silencing opposing beliefs is close to constitutionally forbidden government sanctioned infringement on the Freedom of Speech. His disturbing behavior of wanting citizen reports of dissent is startlingly similar to what was seen in Europe in the 1940's. But, of course, Obama knows what is best for us.

Obama Has An Epiphany

Obama declared that "Cash for Clunkers" is a success. Give consumers $4,500 to spend on a new car, and they use it. He says this is a true stimulus success. Really? Is that a surprise? Surely he doesn't mean that when the government hands our cash back to us Americans that we will spend it? Is this some kind of a revelation and true Liberal Presidential epiphany for him?

If, as it has been pointed out by many who really understand job creation, he would have given all Americans a one or one and a half year tax holiday, some would squirrel that money away, sure, but countless people would spend that money too. They would buy things and create jobs.

And how to pay for the tax holiday? If Obama had saved the money that he printed and squandered in his wasteful deficit spending frenzy and directed it back to us in tax relief, that could have covered the much of cost of the tax holiday.

But, Liberal Democrats can't comprehend the increases in tax revenue that always come when taxes are cut. They never have understood that simple concept, and they apparently never will. They always called it "Unexpected Revenue" and were shocked when record taxes were collected during GWB's tax cuts.

Thanks to Obama economics, overall US income tax payments are down 18% this year. Individual tax payments are down 20%, and corporate tax collections are down down 57% so far too. State income tax collections are fairing no better. This is the worst tax collection year since 1932.


And the obvious benefit of a tax holiday? People would buy goods with their money, which would have to be made by someone hired to do that, creating other jobs in providing raw materials, transportation, wholesaling, warehousing, and retailing. Many economist believe that unemployment would have been reduced to 3 or 4 percent. That's more than what economists call full employment. Talk about creating or saving jobs!
This would certainly have added to the amount of taxpayers and revenue to the government.

But, don't sell Obama short. He has created a booming business in firearms and ammunition manufacturing. Ammo manufacturers are still running 24/7 and yet can't keep up with the demand. Gun and ammunition manufacturers stock prices have soared.

At least numerous jobs have actually been created or saved in this one industry by him.

10 Reasons Why I Love Obama's Socialist America

1. I don't have to think for myself. Oh my God, its so hard to make decisions or plans for my future anymore. I depend on President Obama for the rest of my life to do all my thinking and make all decisions for me from now on. If he is too busy, someone who works for him will. What a load off my mind. I trust them so much.

2. All my needs are be provided for. I'll just wait for my monthly government check. As long as there are wealthy people to provide for us and the government printing presses are well oiled, we will never run out of money. As I heard someone else say on Barack's election day, "I never thought this day would come. I'll never have to work to pay for gasoline again. I'll never have to work to pay my mortgage anymore." Well said.

3. My college tuition will be free. Why should I leave my parent's house and struggle to get a grant or a student loan or pay tuition when everything will be given to me? I hear that under Obama you will get a "B" for just showing up in class now.

4. There will be no world conflict because we will all get along now. Everybody loves Obama. Terrorism has begun to end now that the world knows we are harmless. We no longer have anything to fear. All overseas terrorist attacks don't affect us because we live so far away

5. No one hates America anymore. Everyone knows that the only reason that all the world hated us was because of George W. Bush. Problem solved.

6. I don't have to worry about gun violence or crime. Obama is against guns guns and is against concealed carry of handguns. His attorney general has announced that Obama has a few things he wants to do with guns. We can join Europe in making guns illegal. They have no crime problems.

7. My health care will be free. We are modeling our free health care after the efficient systems in Canada and England. Health care is for the healthy and the young. Valuable resources won't be squandered in treating the elderly because they have lived their lives.
We will give every elderly person a Yugo. Here are some pain pills for you to relax with. Now Yugo take them.
The Eskimos used to set their elderly outside in the winter when they got too old. Now we can depend on Obama to do this for us.

8. My housing will be free. There are lots of vacant houses now. If I don't like the one I live in now, I can just move into the one you recently vacated. I can depend on Obama, or maybe even you to pay my mortgage for me if I ever need to get one. I might even hand out bumper stickers to you that say, "Honk if I'm paying your mortgage."

9. And, of course, free food too. Some people get free food now, but the program will expand for everyone. Instead of shopping, I will just show up at a government warehouse free super market and get all the free food that I can eat. I will always be thoughtful and courteous and not take too much.
