Obama has concluded his his latest "Excellent Adventure" overseas. Are we any better off for it? In one word, no.
He embarrassed our nation once again by giving another cheesy gift to Queen Elizabeth. What's with him and the British? Who makes the White House gift giving decisions? He could use one but the Liberals haven't added a "Secretary of Gifts" to the cabinet yet, it would go well with a "Secretary of Peace" position. We really don't need one of those though. We have Obama.
Anarchist Crowds did their usual riots and destruction at the G20 showing no respect or deference to the Messiah. We were led to believe that the whole world would love us once Obama became our fearless leader. What went wrong? Who will riot next?
Our great leader did manage to find the time to do a complete "from the waist" bow in submission to Saudi royalty. It was a submissive bow that would have made any normal thinking president cringe. It made red blooded Americans ashamed.
Rather than talking up the USA with pride that even Jimmy Carter might have done as President, Obama chose the low road by apologizing for America. How dare him to do that? We didn't elect an apologist in chief, but that's what we got.
Obama and his wife cozied up with Sarcozy and his wife. It was a big step in making us more French. He told Sarkozy that he was learning French He said that he was having trouble with a few French words. He asked Sarkozy what the French words "Ménage à trois" meant. He actually didn't do that, but nothing naive Obama does surprises anyone.
He didn't manage to find time while in France to pay real respect to true American heroes who are in their graves in Normandy. The French even made the offer to take him there several times. He is making his grand trip to the Normandy beach this summer. He didn't want to interfere with that publicity. Maybe his staffers can find the same rock pebbles brought in by Clinton staffers and put on the gravel free sand
beach for Slick Willie to thoughtfully arrange in the shape of a cross when he visited there. Maybe Obama will make a sand castle copy of the Palace of Versailles on Normandy beach to "one up" Bill.
He did find time to visit a Mosque while in Turkey. After he removed his shoes in respect to his heritage and his past/current/future religion, he beamed when shown the name of Mohammed's grandson, "Hussein", in the Koran.
Then, it was time to move on to demoralize our troops in Iraq. He did get a better reception this time than when he met a group of marines previously, when they sat on their hands and said nothing as he entered the room and spoke.
He told the world that he wanted to stand down on nuclear weapons deterrence. This, even as North Korea develops a missle that can carry an atomic warhead to American soil. America is weaker with this man.
He told the world that the USA wasn't at war with Islam. We aren't. But we are at war with Islamic extremism. Even if Obama wants to call it " Overseas Contingency Operations.
Its impossible to decide what the biggest embarrassment to the US that Obama did was. The trip was just a snapshot of Obama. There is the liberal world of Obama and there is the real world we live in.

Obama's Smart Meter- A Presidential First.
Obama has said that there is a need for each house to have a government "smart meter" to tell you when turn off your home's lights.
What's next, an Obama "smart meter" to tell us when we eat, smoke, drink, think, or have sex too much?

Its All In How You Say It
Barack Obama is doing his best to further politically correct speech so we can all get along better. Its not nice to offend anyone by the way we Americans say something. Here are some examples of politically correct speech terms used by the Obama Administration,
and a few more suggestions.
1. No to "Enemy Combatants." Yes to "Detainees."
2. No to "War On Terror." Yes to "Overseas Contingency Operation."
3. No to "Socialism." Yes to "Wealth Redistribution Program"
4. No to "Budget Deficits." Yes to "Investments In Our Future."
5. No to "Higher Taxes." Yes to "The Patriotic Thing To Do."
6. No to "Global Warming." Yes To "Global Climate Change."
7. No to "Terrorism." Yes to "Man Caused Disaster."
Lets add a few to help the the President.
8. No to "Gun Control." Yes To "Gun Redistribution."
(Which could lead to rapid Ammo Redistribution.)

Obama's Broken Promises- And a Few He Shouldn't Have Kept
Barack Obama: "We're here to infuse the old Washington politics with a new sense of mission - to unite people around a common purpose. To rally Americans around a common destiny. We aren't just here to win an election. We are here to transform a nation."
Transformation, indeed. He is transforming himself and the nation too. No President has acted faster to do a complete reversal on campaign promises and positions during the campaign and act detrimentally to the country and the American people than Barack Hussein Obama has in the first two months of his presidency. Those who said that he was willing to say or do anything to win were quickly proven correct.
His popularity polls have been steadily falling on the correct impression that America is instinctively feeling of his incompetence, lack of direction, and move toward directly to creating a socialist state. Here are the Broken promises, and some we wish he wouldn't have kept.
He has reneged on his claim that he did not want to take American firearms. He has rushed to sign bills after promising not to. He now wants to tax health care benefits. He now likes earmark pork. He has dropped charges against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, mastermind of the bombing of the USS Cole. He is closing Guantanamo. He is ending coercive interrogation techniques that work. He has shown himself to be soft on terrorism.
1. Obama, Sept. 9, 2008: I don't want any misunderstanding when you all go home, and you're talking to your buddies, and they say, "Aw, he wants to take my gun away." You've heard it here; I'm on television, so everybody knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people's lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won't take your handgun away. ... There are some common-sense gun safety laws that I believe in. But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don't use that one. ... It just ain't true.
Reality- On 02/25/09 Obama Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters, "As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons."
2. From Obama/Biden "Sunlight Before Signing":

"Too often bills are rushed through Congress and to the president before the public has the opportunity to review them. As president,Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days"
Reality- The Obama stimulus bill was signed almost immediately day after being placed on his desk, giving no time for the public or legislators to read. he has done this with almost every bill sent to him.

Reality- Dick Cheney, said "yes," when asked by CNN if the USA was less safe after Barack Obama's decisions to reverse George W. Bush's anti terrorism policies
He believed that the dismantled programs were necessary to be able to get intelligence that has headed off further attacks on the USA. He believes that Obama is making current choices that increases the chance of new attacks on the USA.
5. Obama is closing the Guantanamo terrorist detention center.
Reality- Where are the terrorists going to be sent, Chicago's inner city? Barney Frank's house? Bobby Rush's crib? Montana?
Many of those who have already been released have been found to have returned to the current battlefield fighting American soldiers.
Such is the case of Guantanamo releasee, Said Ali al-Shihri, who is now second in command of al-Qaida' in Yemen. He was Guantanamo prisoner number 372.
The consequences of Obama's capricious plan to close Guantanamo are frightening. More of this is on the table.
6. "Anybody detained by the Untied States, for now, is going to be ... any interrogations taking place are going to have to abide by the Army Field Manua.

Reality- Obama is now open to taxing your health care benefits, contrary to his campaign sloganing. It will raise over 200 billion. He will leave the dirty work to Congress to give him political cover.

Ten Reasons Why We Should Support Barack Obama
1. He wants closer relations with Cuba. Why not? We all need a nice, new place to vacation. Cuban rum and cigars...yes. Classic cars are cool too. Maybe we can see where Fidel is mummified like Lenin.
2. He wants to redistribute wealth. More jobs will be created at printing firms that print "Honk if I'm paying your mortgage" bumper stickers.
3. He wants closer relations with Iran. What's wrong with a few nukes tossed at Israel? Its too crowded anyway. We're helping with our goal of spreading our wealth around by giving $900 million to Hezbollah in Gaza to rebuild. Look at all the money Iran will save by our generous donation.
4. He wants nationalized health care. We can join our European socialist allies in their long waits for health care. After all, people with jobs lost have nothing else to do but wait in their spare time. Why should our own physicians be burdened in choosing what medications and treatments we receive when a person with a history degree or drama degree and newly hired by the government can do it for them? After all, this program will create a lot of government jobs and help Obama's goal of lower unemployment. Currently, those on Medicare create a drain on the government. Eskimos used to put their elderly outside in the winter to hasten their departure. Under Obama's plan, the government will do this for us.
5. He wants closer relations with North Korea. Astronomers and scientists everywhere are in favor of this. Currently, for a good telescope view of the universe, we must depend on telescopes in space, like the Hubble. Why go to all that expense. We can use this diplomatic breakthrough by simply putting big telescopes in the worker's paradise of North Korea. Since there is no industry in North Korea, there's no smog to blur our celestial view. There are only three light bulbs that light up all of North Korea at night, so there will be no ambient light to interfere either.
6. Obama's bill, called the Global Poverty Act, can be revived. Obama as a Senator said is the type of legislation, "We can – and must – make … a priority," Its designed to force American Presidents to cut world poverty by 50% by 2015. Of course, Obama wouldn't have to be forced, since its his idea. Its only another $850 billion more of our dollars. What's another almost trillion here or there?
7. Gun Control. Surely, all criminals will gleefully give up their guns under Obama.
8. Who needs a 401k anyway? Just buy a boat instead and christen it "401 Kay." Its lots more fun.
9. Undocumented Aliens will get a boost from the stimulus package. They could get as many as 300,000 new jobs under Obama. The computerized e-verify immigration status check program provision to see if they have valid Social Security numbers has been killed by Congress. This will save electricity and help end global warming. We need those people to build our buildings, and we pay them less. They don't speak English, and they don't complain. They will be good Obama voters.
10. Obama's economic plan will create more leisure time. Without the stress of having to work, or pay bills, people will have more time to surf government sites to find out how they can monetarily benefit from the Obama stimulus plan.
11. Bonus Reason. He knows how to run our lives, pay our bills, raise and educate our kids, and protect us and our families better than we do.

3. He wants closer relations with Iran. What's wrong with a few nukes tossed at Israel? Its too crowded anyway. We're helping with our goal of spreading our wealth around by giving $900 million to Hezbollah in Gaza to rebuild. Look at all the money Iran will save by our generous donation.
4. He wants nationalized health care. We can join our European socialist allies in their long waits for health care. After all, people with jobs lost have nothing else to do but wait in their spare time. Why should our own physicians be burdened in choosing what medications and treatments we receive when a person with a history degree or drama degree and newly hired by the government can do it for them? After all, this program will create a lot of government jobs and help Obama's goal of lower unemployment. Currently, those on Medicare create a drain on the government. Eskimos used to put their elderly outside in the winter to hasten their departure. Under Obama's plan, the government will do this for us.
5. He wants closer relations with North Korea. Astronomers and scientists everywhere are in favor of this. Currently, for a good telescope view of the universe, we must depend on telescopes in space, like the Hubble. Why go to all that expense. We can use this diplomatic breakthrough by simply putting big telescopes in the worker's paradise of North Korea. Since there is no industry in North Korea, there's no smog to blur our celestial view. There are only three light bulbs that light up all of North Korea at night, so there will be no ambient light to interfere either.
6. Obama's bill, called the Global Poverty Act, can be revived. Obama as a Senator said is the type of legislation, "We can – and must – make … a priority," Its designed to force American Presidents to cut world poverty by 50% by 2015. Of course, Obama wouldn't have to be forced, since its his idea. Its only another $850 billion more of our dollars. What's another almost trillion here or there?
7. Gun Control. Surely, all criminals will gleefully give up their guns under Obama.
8. Who needs a 401k anyway? Just buy a boat instead and christen it "401 Kay." Its lots more fun.
9. Undocumented Aliens will get a boost from the stimulus package. They could get as many as 300,000 new jobs under Obama. The computerized e-verify immigration status check program provision to see if they have valid Social Security numbers has been killed by Congress. This will save electricity and help end global warming. We need those people to build our buildings, and we pay them less. They don't speak English, and they don't complain. They will be good Obama voters.
10. Obama's economic plan will create more leisure time. Without the stress of having to work, or pay bills, people will have more time to surf government sites to find out how they can monetarily benefit from the Obama stimulus plan.
11. Bonus Reason. He knows how to run our lives, pay our bills, raise and educate our kids, and protect us and our families better than we do.

Send A Tea Bag To Obama- And Your Legislators Too
King George's Parliament passed a series of laws, called the "Intolerable Acts" by the colonists, to punish them for their involvement in the Boston Tea Party. 90,000 pounds of tea was dumped into Boston Harbor from three British ships. The colonists were understandably upset by the fact that the Crown was passing a series of laws that oppressed the people.
Similarly, many modern day Americans are upset by this nation's current turn to a socialist state with taxpayer bailouts to failing corporations, lip service to tax relief, and the possible nationalization of banks. Taking a cue from Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, some Congressmen have even suggested nationalizing the nation's oil companies. Do we really want Nancy Polosi, Barney Frank, and Harry Reid making our country's business decisions and running our nation's private businesses? Government has never been able to run anything efficiently, let alone, profitably. They are incapable of starting now.
There was a real "Chicago Tea Party" on the Board of Trade on February 19th" that was a focal point of the feelings of many. In a live report on the normally staid CNBC, Rick Santelli said, "The government is promoting bad behavior... do we really want to subsidize the losers' mortgages... This is America! How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage? Obama are you listening? How about we all stop paying our mortgage! It's a moral hazard..." This was a grassroots warning shot across the bow of a ship of state, running without a rudder.
Americans are getting get fed up with the rapid move to socialism in our country. Our leaders have turned this country in a direction that was unimaginable even a year ago. Socialism is not in our DNA. It never has been, and it never will be.
No, "Spreading the wealth around," is not a good thing. It is not in our fiber to forcefully take from the successful to give to the unsuccessful. Charity is in the heart, and not forced by law. Those who are forced to bear the burden by oppressive tax rates will decide that it is not worth the effort to produce, only to have the majority of the fruits of their labor confiscated by their government, only to be redistributed. The productive ones will simply fold their economic cards, and drop out.
It is time to show those of both parties that we, the people who elected them, are extremely displeased, and mad with the socialist, nanny state direction they are steering our country into. It is time for a new "Tea Party." It is time to stand our ground. It is time for the American people to make a bold statement.
